MediBuddy is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage billing, track receivables, and ensure timely invoicing and collections, who will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy, leading audits, and optimizing AR processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

● Billing, Tracking aging of receivables, Follow up of invoices.
● Handle Billing and Client Queries
● Manage the monthly AR close process including reconciliation of AR sub-ledger to GL and preparation of AR month end schedules, revenue reporting and reconciliation to GL and metrics used for internal reporting.
● Preparing audit schedules, handling audit queries including meeting internal and external auditor’s requirements.
● Understanding and complying with records retention policies.
● Reconciliation of the Deferred (AR) accrued balances.
● Compliance issues pertaining to the Process of accounts receivable.
● Set-up processes for smooth collection of data, reconciliation with clients, raising of invoice, payment advice, and confirmations.
● Responsible for ensuring that the DSO stays within pre-agreed limits and the monthly/weekly collection targets are met
● Ensure that the invoices are raised on time with 100% accuracy.
● Ensure that the invoices and provisions are entered in the accounting system (SAP) on a t+1 basis.
● Conduct weekly reviews with the BU heads, Regional managers and Account managers to ensure that the issues related to collection and reconciliation are discussed in detail and dealt with in a timely manner.
● Lead and coach the team on responsible and firm communication with internal and external customers
● Ensure appropriate application of GST in the billing

Key Skills/Qualifications:

● Degree in Accounting, Finance. Aspiration for a professional qualification
● 3+ years of experience with Accounts Receivables. Knowledge of accounting systems, SAP
● Knowledge of the flow of receivables transaction in accounting
● Ability to set-up and fine-tune processes needed for timely invoicing and collection
● Ability to collaborate with the internal stakeholders for data collection, reconciliation and collection updates
● Willingness to take firm stance in favour of the organisation to ensure strict adherence to timelines and processes
● Eagerness to problem solve through engagement with other teams Progression
● After setting-up and managing AR function, this individual could be considered for similar projects in finance
